Pro and subscriptions
How does the free week work?
The yearly plan starts with seven days free. If notifications are on, the app reminds you two days before the free week ends. Cancel any time before it ends and you won't be charged.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought from.
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose PipStep and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Google Play app, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, choose PipStep and tap Cancel subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
I changed phones or reinstalled the app. How do I get Pro back?
Sign in with the same Apple ID (App Store) or Google account (Google Play) you bought it with, then in the app go to Manage → App → Restore purchases. You won't be charged again.
Can I get a refund?
Payments go through Apple or Google, so refunds do too. On iPhone and iPad, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, request one from your Google Play order history.
Using the app
I forgot my parent PIN.
On the PIN screen, tap Forgot PIN?. Once your phone confirms it's you, with Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or face unlock (or your phone's passcode if it has none of these), you can choose a new PIN. Your routines and history stay as they are.
Will my routines move to a new phone?
Everything is stored on your phone, not in an account, so there's nothing to sign in to. Your routines come with you if you move to a new phone by restoring a backup of your old one.
Reminders aren't arriving.
Check that notifications are allowed for PipStep in your phone's Settings → Notifications, and that the routine has a time and a reminder set in its editor.
How do I delete my data?
Everything the app keeps is on your phone. Deleting the app removes your routines, children, photos, recordings and history. To stop anonymous usage statistics without deleting anything, turn off Manage → App → Share anonymous usage.
Privacy
Your child's name, photos and recordings never leave your phone. Read the full Privacy Policy.

On iPhone and iPad, PipStep is licensed under Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement. On Android, the Google Play Terms of Service apply.
